Ayla Goodson (Owner)

Ayla Goodson is the Founder/CEO of Gemini Studioz. She founded the first location of Gemini Studioz in Mobile, AL. on January 3, 2015 and the second location in Baton Rouge, LA on April 14, 2018. At the age of 6, Ayla began gymnastics classes marking the beginning of her athletic career.  As a natural ball of energy, Ayla channeled her skills to a similar athletic avenue where she found her love for cheerleading.  Ayla began cheering in middle school which carried her on through her college years.

Ayla received a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from Southern University and A&M College in Baton Rouge, LA in 2010.  While at Southern University, Ayla was a member of the All-Girl Cheerleading Squad from 2006-2007.  She then joined the Southern University Collegiate Co-Ed Cheerleading Squad from 2007-2010.  During her time at Southern, Ayla was captain of the cheer squad from 2009-2010. 

In 2007, Ayla was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes. Ayla has since been on a quest to promote healthy living as an advocate for Diabetes.  Knowing the seriousness of diabetes, Ayla began to embrace the importance of health and fitness. Searching for various areas to find fun in fitness, she remained active with cheerleading, and discovered the intense workout and benefit of Pole Fitness.

In 2011, Ayla moved to Houston, TX and teamed up with Chassity and Courtney “CJay” her previous cheer-mates from Southern, they started their own cheerleading mentorship program “Cheer on the GROW”.  As a coach with the Fort Bend Youth Football League, Ayla had the opportunity to coach for 3 years. Determined to make a difference and continue to inspire others to follow their dreams, Ayla made the decision to bring her talents and passion back home to Mobile, AL.

Gemini Studioz, LLC was created to motivate young and old women to understand just how important health and fitness is to everyday life. 

Ayla is also the author of GRRRRRRRREAT Morning Pals: An Inspirational Way to Start Your Day, which she released in June 2017. She is also a mentor, motivational speaker, and life coach. She is a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc. 

Ayla's motto is "You are never too young, never too old, never too inexperienced to pursue what you were created to do.  Use your gifts to inspire and influence others in a positive light.  Never give up on your goals.  The journey maybe difficult, but the destination is worth it!"

Ariel Watson (Mobile, AL)

Ariel Watson is a current resident of Mobile, AL.  At age 26, a small curiosity for pole dancing began with a YouTube video of aerialist and champion pole dancer, Jenyne Butterfly.  Her curiosity turned into a passion and led her to learn more about pole dancing and its techniques.  She came to Gemini Studioz as a student in 2016 is now one of the lead pole instructors.

Ariel's motto is "Pole dancing will teach you to love yourself more, laugh at your awkwardness, and gives you the power to be your wonderful , amazing self."

Lachundra Mosley (Mobile, AL)

Lachundra Mosley is a native of and  currently lives in Mobile, AL. She took her first pole class in 2014.  She didn't become serious about pole fitness until she took her first calss at Gemini Studioz.  She proceeded to fall in love with fitness as she started working out regularly in hopes to progress in pole.  Not only is she a pole instructor at Gemini Studioz,  but she is also a certified Zumba instructor and teaches step aerobics.

Lachundra's motto is " Have determination and motivation and realize that size doesn't determine fitness.  Progress takes practice and you have to start somewhere."

Ashley Danielle (Mobile, AL)

Ashley Danielle is a 225 Registered Holy Yoga instructor who is committed to revolutionize the way men and women approach self care, especially within the African American community.  She helps others understand the yoga's ability to help individuals cultivate self-love, develop a stronger connection to their Faith, lose weight, increase energy, and experience optimal health.  As a published author, motivational speaker, and successful entrepreneur, Ashley Danielle is dedicated to creating positive atmospheres where people can connect with the truth that their bodies are indeed temples and should be treated with respect through a healthy and active lifestyle. Ashley's motto is "Take care of YOUR temple."

Courtney "CJay" Harness (Baton Rouge, LA)

Fitness Instructor Courtney is a vibrant ball of energy. Her passion for health and fitness began in Bastrop, LA where she was often involved in sports such as softball, track, cheerleading and gymnastics. In 2009, she earned a Bachelor's Degree in Therapeutic Recreation and Leisure Studies from Southern University and A&M College in Baton Rouge, LA. The following summer she became a certified personal trainer. In 2013, she became a Physical Education teacher to help children develop a love for health and fitness. 

Additionally, Courtney was a member Southern University Co-ed cheerleading squad from 2005 - 2008 and spent two years as a professional cheerleader for the Houston "Dynamo Girls" MLS Team in 2012 and 2013. While in Houston she started a cheerleading squad at Yes Prep West in Houston, and served as head coach of the cheerleading and track team from 2012 - 2016.

Courtney's motto is "Even the expert was once a beginner"!

Chassity Crittenden (Baton Rouge, LA)

Chassity is a Sports & Fitness Enthusiast!!! She received her bachelors degree in Therapeutic Recreation from Southern University and A&M College in Baton Rouge, LA . Chassity has a background in track, basketball, and cheer. She is a former Southern University Cheerleader, 5yr Professional NBA Cheerleader with the Houston Rockets. She was a featured character in the book "CHEER" by Katie Torgovnick, 

NBA ALL-STAR Cheerleader, 2012-2016 Team USA Olympic Cheerleader, Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist, and AFAA Certified Stress & Anxiety Fitness Coach.

Chassity's motto is "BREATHE and heal your body!"

Crystal Parker (Baton Rouge, LA)

Crystal Parker is a native of Gonzales, LA. She earned her Bachelor and Master of Science degrees in Psychology and School Counseling in 2010 and 2016, from Southern University A & M College in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.  Currently, Crystal works as a Family Support Coordinator, where she connects families with disabled children to resources that can better assistance them.  Prior to her employment with Community Resource Coordinators, Crystal worked with Social Security Administration in Baton Rouge, Louisiana and assisted individuals with filing for disability.  Crystal enjoys working with children. She is a mentor and a former youth basketball coach.  Crystal also judges auditions for aspiring dancers and cheerleaders in the surrounding areas. In 2014, Crystal started her pole journey and has enjoyed it ever since.   Although challenging, Crystal believes that poling is an excellent workout and a great alternative to the gym. In her spare time Crystal, enjoys spending time with her nephew, working out, and traveling. 

Crystal's motto is "The best project you'll ever work on is you, start now because rushed jobs don't work."

Meagan Callier (Baton Rouge, LA)

Meagan Callier is a native of Mobile, Alabama but currently resides in Baton Rouge, LA. Her dance career began at the age of 10 and her passion for the craft has followed her into adulthood. She graduated from Southern University and A&M College in Baton Rouge, LA. While attending Southern University, Meagan was a 4 year member of the Human Jukebox’s Dancing Doll team. She is trained in Ballet, Jazz, Lyrical, Contemporary, and many other genres of dance. She also teaches Seduction/Heel Thrill classes at studios throughout Baton Rouge. Meagan strives to encourage all women to embrace your sexy and confidence.
